Griffith Observatory: Not only does it offer the best views of the LA skyline and the Hollywood sign, but it is also a fantastic science museum. Check out how much you would weigh on different planets!
LACMA (Urban Light): The iconic installation of 202 vintage street lamps is one of the most photographed spots in LA. Best visited at dusk or night when the lights are on.
Santa Monica Pier: A historic landmark featuring an amusement park, restaurants, and the famous Ferris wheel. It's the perfect place to watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean.
Porto's Bakery: A beloved local institution. You cannot visit LA without trying their famous Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls (Papas Rellenas), and Dulce de Leche pastries.

Travel Tip: Los Angeles is a massive, sprawling city. Renting a car is highly recommended. Also, the weather can be deceptive; even if the days are hot, mornings and evenings near the coast (like Santa Monica) can get quite chilly, so always pack a light sweater!
