Getting Around Jeju

Unlike Seoul, public transportation in Jeju can be slow and infrequent. Here is how you should plan to get around:

Rent a Car: This is by far the best way to explore Jeju. It gives you the freedom to stop at scenic viewpoints and hidden cafes. Note: You absolutely must have an International Driving Permit (IDP) to rent a car in South Korea.
Taxis: If you cannot rent a car, use the Kakao T app to book taxis. It is reliable, but relying solely on taxis can get expensive if you are covering long distances across the island.
